Fronius is now proud to announce one of the most cost effective and easy-to-set-up export limiting solutions on the market. As of now, the Fronius SnapINverter range* in conjunction with any of the Fronius Smart Meters can be configured to achieve a grid export limit from -10% to 100% of the system rating.

The system just requires a SnapINverter with in-built Datamanager and a Fronius Smart Meter. The export limit settings are activated on the Datamanager web interface and are secured with the use of a password. Fronius put their inverters through their paces to ensure the highest possible quality standards, and that’s why we’re able to offer a Ten Year Warranty out the box.

Did you know that Fronius tests far more than what is required by national and international specifications? The electrical properties are verified, the inverter’s behaviour on the power grid is tested, the efficiency is measured, and the mechanical strength under transport loads is tested. The behaviour of inverters is also tested in tough environments to demonstrate how the devices react to various environmental conditions such as water, dust, salt, and temperature.

Long-term tests are performed to determine how long the devices will withstand the stipulated requirements, and they also ensure that our inverters are prepared for any situation. For example, if a device is intended for outdoor installation, it must be resistant to water sprayed from any direction and protected against the ingress of foreign bodies and, depending on the device and region, it must also withstand temperatures from -25°C to +55°C.

We want you to relax in the knowledge that a Fronius inverter is a high quality inverter, built to last. However, we understand the importance of a robust warranty for peace of mind, which is why we are extending our 10 year warranty on all Fronius SnapINverters
until December 31, 2016.
